Tigger is the exuberant, spring-tailed heart of the Hundred Acre Wood. First appearing in Disney’s 1968 short Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day, he has bounced his way into the hearts of generations as the “one and only” master of fun.
Breaking News: A New Journey to the Hundred Acre Wood
As of early 2026, veteran voice actor Jim Cummings has confirmed that Disney is officially developing a brand-new, feature-length Winnie the Pooh movie. While details are still “stuffed with fluff,” the project is expected to return to the classic hand-drawn aesthetic that made Tigger a star, reaffirming Disney’s definitive version of these characters as they enter the public domain.
Where to Find Tigger in the Parks (2026)
Tigger is currently one of the most reliable characters for a high-energy interaction. Here is where you can find him this season:
- Magic Kingdom (Walt Disney World): Tigger meets guests daily at The Thotful Spot in Fantasyland, right next to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. He typically meets alongside Pooh Bear between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
- The Crystal Palace: For a guaranteed pounce, book a table at this Magic Kingdom character buffet where Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet visit every table for photos and autographs.
- Disneyland Park: Tigger is a staple in the newly reimagined Bayou Country (formerly Critter Country), greeting fans near the entrance to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
The Voice of a Generation
While Paul Winchell originated the role and provided the iconic “hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!” laugh, Jim Cummings has carried the mantle for over three decades. Cummings’ performance has ensured that Tigger remains as vibrant and optimistic in 2026 as he was in 1968.
