New Shoulder Banshees Arrive Soon in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Starting November 21, 2024, visitors to Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom can enhance their experience by adopting new interactive shoulder banshees.

These updated companions feature glow-in-the-dark bioluminescence and are available in four unique color patterns. Controlled via a wireless remote, the banshees can move their mouths, heads, and wings, and emit authentic sounds provided by Lightstorm Entertainment. Notably, they can recognize and interact with other banshees nearby, adding a dynamic element to the experience.

Guests can further personalize their banshees with accessory packs inspired by Avatar clans and transport them easily using a new sling-style carry case. These enhancements aim to deepen the connection between guests and the world of Avatar, allowing them to bring a piece of Pandora home.
