Toymaker Hasbro Has Good Quarter Due to Star Wars, Disney Sales
Published on 4/18/16 by Craig Smith
Hasbro reported stronger than expected quarterly financials today due, in part to their various Disney and “Star Wars” toy lines.
The US toymaker saw growth in toys “targeted to” both boys and girls- something that is being attributed to sales of “Star Wars,” “Frozen” and Disney Princess toys. This momentum is likely to continue with a number of new promotions and movies coming out in the near future.
