Hollywood & Vine Gets a Morning Makeover: Minnie Takes Over Breakfast Too

Disney’s Hollywood & Vine restaurantHollywood & Vine restaurant | Disney World at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is undergoing a significant shift: beginning October 12, 2025, the beloved Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine breakfast — featuring characters like Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, and Roadster Goofy — will be retired in favor of Minnie’s Seasonal Dining for all three meals.

For years, Hollywood & Vine provided a dual character experience: mornings with Disney Junior characters and lunch/dinner with Minnie Mouse and friends in a rotating seasonal theme.

After October 11, though, that distinction vanishes — Minnie and her pals (Mickey, Goofy, Pluto) will greet guests at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, each meal framed by seasonal flair.

The change is likely tied to a broader reimagining of Disney’s Animation Courtyard and the winding down of the Disney Junior Play & Dance show.

Disney has declined to offer full explanations publicly, but many commentators view this as a streamlining move.

From a guest perspective, the switch closes the door on character variety at breakfast in that space, but it also standardizes expectations: no more juggling two distinct dining experiences under one roof. Guests who longed to meet Disney Junior stars at Hollywood Studios may find fewer opportunities — at least until Disney unveils future replacements or experiences. Meanwhile, fans of Minnie’s Seasonal Dining should prepare for increased demand, especially in morning slots.
