Two popular dining spots at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will temporarily go dark in 2026 as the resort undergoes an extended round of maintenance and upgrades. Disney has announced that the beloved Yachtsman Steakhouse and its neighboring Crew’s Cup Lounge will each close for several months as part of the wider project.

Crew’s Cup Lounge is scheduled to be the first to close, going offline on February 23, 2026, for a refurbishment expected to last around three months, with a planned reopening in May 2026. Yachtsman Steakhouse will follow later in the year, shutting its doors in May 2026 for a refresh and currently slated to return to service by August 2026.

The closures are tied to broader exterior work at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, which is expected to continue through late 2026 and may impact resort views and guest walkways during daytime construction hours. Despite the downtime at these two venues, guests will still find a variety of dining choices around Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and the nearby Crescent Lake area, including table-service, quick-service, and signature options such as Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, Cape May Cafe, Ale & Compass Restaurant, and Flying Fish.

Guests with upcoming trips in 2026 are encouraged to check updated operating hours and make alternative dining plans if Yachtsman Steakhouse or Crew’s Cup Lounge were part of their itineraries.
