Series Description:
“The Lion Guard” is an animated television series that aired on Disney Junior from 2016 to 2019. It is a spin-off and continuation of Disney’s classic animated film “The Lion King,” which was released in 1994.
The series is set in the Pride Lands of Africa and follows the adventures of Kion, the son of Simba and Nala, who becomes the leader of the Lion Guard. The Lion Guard is a group of animals tasked with preserving the balance of the Circle of Life and protecting the Pride Lands from various threats.

Bunga (voiced by Joshua Rush) – A fearless and adventurous honey badger and Kion’s best friend.

Fuli (voiced by Diamond White) – A fast and agile cheetah who serves as the fastest member of the Lion Guard.

Beshte (voiced by Dusan Brown) – A friendly and strong hippopotamus who is the strongest member of the group.

Ono (voiced by Atticus Shaffer) – An intelligent and keen-eyed egret who serves as the keenest of sight in the Lion Guard.
Together, they use their unique abilities and teamwork to face various challenges and protect the Pride Lands from dangerous enemies, including hyenas, crocodiles, vultures, and other threats to the ecosystem.
“The Lion Guard” incorporates themes of friendship, bravery, and the importance of embracing one’s unique qualities. The series also explores the responsibilities of leadership and the circle of life, building on the themes presented in the original “Lion King” film.
In addition to its entertaining stories, the series features musical numbers and familiar characters from “The Lion King,” including Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumbaa, Rafiki, and Zazu, who appear as recurring characters and mentors to the young members of the Lion Guard.
