Who is Abuela Alma Madrigal?

Abuela Alma Madrigal is a central character in the Disney animated film “Encanto” (2021). She was voiced by María Cecilia Botero. She is the matriarch of the magical Madrigal family who resides in a charmed area of Colombia. The narrative of “Encanto” largely revolves around the dynamics within the Madrigal family, who each possess unique magical abilities, except for one granddaughter, Mirabel.
