The fan‑favorite live production Festival of The Lion King recently celebrated its 80 millionth guest, a remarkable achievement for the vibrant performance nestled in the Harambe Theatre in Africa.

On the day of the celebration, cast members surprised a young family when their daughter was named the 80 millionth theatre‑goer. She was presented with a special commemorative ticket and a themed button marking the moment – and joined the cast for group photos after the show, creating a memory to last a lifetime.

Since its debut in 1998, Festival of The Lion King has charmed guests with its bold colors, puppetry, acrobatics and beloved songs drawn from The Lion King. It’s become a benchmark for live entertainment at Walt Disney World, combining theatrical flair and Disney storytelling in a circular‑theatre format that invites audience participation and exuberance.
