Japanese game maker LINE announced some pretty amazing statistics this week for their uber popular Disney Tsum Tsum mobile game. Here is a quick rundown of what was announced (as always, stats are linked to their source):

  • Number of times Disney Tsum Tsum has been played: 165.4 billion
  • Amount that Disney Tsum Tsum has generated in sales: $1 billion
  • Percentage of Disney Tsum Tsum sales that come from Asia: 47%
  • Number of countries Disney Tsum Tsum is available in: 154 countries

In case you weren’t one of the 70 million downloaders, Disney Tsum Tsum is a  free mobile puzzle game based on the popular Disney Tsum Tsum plush toys. Players are challenged to collect their favorite Tsum Tsums, connect 3 or more and ‘pop’ them to collect points.  There are countless Tsum Tsums to collect in the game, all of which are based on Disney classic, TV and movie characters and each has a different skill assigned to them.
