Walt Disney World has set an official opening date for Bluey’s Wild World at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, with the new experience scheduled to debut on May 26, 2026 at Conservation Station. The announcement gives families a firm date for one of Disney World’s most closely watched kid-focused additions of the year and confirms that Bluey and Bingo will arrive just in time for the resort’s summer season.

Disney has positioned Bluey’s Wild World as part of its broader “Cool KIDS’ SUMMER” push, which begins May 26 and runs through the busy family travel period.

According to Disney, Bluey’s Wild World will be located at Conservation Station in Rafiki’s Planet Watch, an area reached by the Wildlife Express Train from Harambe in Africa. Once there, guests will be able to play games inspired by episodes of “Bluey,” dance along with Bluey and Bingo, and take photos with the characters. Disney has also teased an animal-focused component called “Jumping Junction,” where guests can learn about animals native to Bluey’s home country of Australia.

That last detail is especially notable because it suggests Disney is trying to connect the popular preschool series to Animal Kingdom’s broader identity, rather than simply dropping in a standard character meet-and-greet. Conservation Station has long served as one of the park’s quieter, education-oriented spaces, focused on animal care and conservation. By building the Bluey experience there, Disney appears to be aiming for a blend of character appeal and park-specific storytelling, using the franchise’s Australian roots as a natural fit.

The new attraction also represents a significant shift for Rafiki’s Planet Watch, which temporarily closed portions of the area on February 23, 2026 to make way for the Bluey offering. Walt Disney World’s official pages noted that both Conservation Station and the Wildlife Express Train would close temporarily for the project, with Bluey’s arrival originally described only as coming in summer 2026. The newly confirmed May 26 debut gives guests far more clarity than Disney had previously offered.

For Animal Kingdom, the timing matters. The park has often been seen as needing more attractions and experiences designed specifically for younger children, especially those built around characters they already know well. “Bluey” has become one of the biggest family entertainment brands in recent years, and bringing Bluey and Bingo into the park gives Disney a strong draw for parents traveling with preschool and elementary-age kids. It also adds another all-ages experience to a park that continues to evolve its entertainment lineup.

The May 26 launch date further suggests Disney wants Bluey’s Wild World to be a centerpiece of its summer marketing, not just a side offering tucked into a remote corner of the park. Disney has been promoting it across multiple official planning pages, signaling that the company expects the experience to resonate with vacationing families looking for more kid-friendly options across the resort.

There is still some room for discovery around exactly how the experience will operate day to day, including capacity, scheduling, and whether any additional themed elements will be added beyond what Disney has already previewed. But the core pitch is now clear: starting May 26, guests visiting Animal Kingdom will be able to make the trip out to Conservation Station for a Bluey-themed experience that combines character interaction, active play, and a touch of wildlife education. For a franchise built around imaginative family fun, that feels like a natural fit.
