Disneyland Park, located in Anaheim, California, is the heartbeat of Disney history. As the only theme park designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney, it serves as the global flagship for the Disneyland Resort.
Celebrating 70 Years of Magic (2026)
Disneyland is currently celebrating its 70th Anniversary, a resort-wide event themed “Celebrate Happy.” Guests visiting in early 2026 can experience:
- Paint the Night Parade: The fan-favorite glowing spectacular has returned to Disneyland Park for the anniversary season.
- Wondrous Journeys: The nightly fireworks and projection show celebrating every Walt Disney Animation Studios film.
- Walt Disney – A Magical Life: The first-ever Audio-Animatronic of Walt Disney himself is now debuting at the Main Street Opera House.
Explore the Park’s Iconic Lands
Disneyland Park features nine themed lands, including the newly reimagined Bayou Country:
- Bayou Country: (Formerly Critter Country) The new home of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree.
- Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: Live your own Star Wars story on the planet Batuu. Note: The land is currently transitioning to include Original Trilogy characters!
- Mickey’s Toontown: A whimsical, interactive land home to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
- New Orleans Square: Home to the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.
- Tomorrowland: Blast off on Space Mountain or travel the galaxy on Star Tours.
- Fantasyland, Frontierland, Adventureland, and Main Street, U.S.A. round out the classic magic.
Visiting in February 2026?
Guests should be aware that Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is currently closed for its annual refurbishment (scheduled to reopen mid-February). Additionally, look for the special “70 Years of Favorites” After Dark event on March 3rd and 5th!
