Who is Bambi?
Bambi is the titular character of the Disney animated film “Bambi,” which was released in 1942. Bambi is a young white-tailed deer who is the son of the Great Prince of the Forest. The story follows Bambi as he grows up in the forest and learns about life, love and the circle of life. Bambi is known for being a curious, innocent and gentle character, as well as for his strong bond with his mother and friends. He is also portrayed as a young deer that has to learn how to survive and face the challenges of the forest, including hunters. The film is based on the novel “Bambi, A Life in the Woods” by Austrian author Felix Salten.
He was voiced by actors Bobby Stewart (baby), Donnie Dunagan (young), Hardie Albright (adolescent) and John Sutherland (young adult).
