Who is Animal?

Animal is a fictional character from the Muppet franchise. He is a wild and frenzied drummer, known for his extreme behavior and his distinctive, guttural growling voice. He is one of the most recognizable characters from the Muppet Show, which aired from 1976 to 1981. He has also appeared in various Muppet movies, television shows, and specials. Animal is known for his wild and unpredictable behavior, and his catchphrase is “Animal can’t control themselves!” He was performed by Frank Oz from 1976 to 2000, Eric Jacobson starting in 2001.
